Clinical case
- 59 years man
- Diabetes mellitus type 2
- Insulin treatment
- Hypertension, dyslipidemia
- IHD-past coronary cath: 2 stents
- Past smoker
- Obesity (Weight 103kg)
- Failure of skin graft, persistent MRSA infection.
- Proximal propagation of the infection.
- Leg CT no evidence of bone involvement.
- V.A.C and antimicrobial treatment.
Local phage cocktail treatment protocol:
One mL of solution was applied topically per cm3 of target ulcer.
Every other day, 7 treatments.
